The History of Howard Rontal & Myofascial Release Massage
Twice a year, for 6 days, Howard Rontal (see in adjacent photo), a renown Myofascial body worker and instructor who founded the Myofascial Release Massage comes from Hawaii to work with my clients. Howard is the author of 3 teaching manuals and has 4 instructors under his tutor-age – currently teaching in Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia.
Howard Rontal has been a Certified Hellerwork Practitioner since 1985 and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Michigan in the early 70's.
His Hellerwork Training was conducted by Joseph Heller. He took five Hellerwork continuing education seminars in the first three years of his practice and continued to study privately with Heller during that time.
He is also a Certified Myoskeletal Alignment Therapist (the work of Erik Dalton), a Certified Structural Integrator SM, and am licensed as a massage therapist by the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, State of Hawaii.
For over 30 years, Sandra Papiez has been Howard Rontal’s agent in the Michigan area. She is delighted to have him town twice a year enhancing the health and well-being of her clientele.
